For researchers

Is your paper here?

2,647 papers hold this site up. Every variant and condition page names the research it was written from, and this is that list, gathered from the pages themselves. Search your name, your journal, or a PMID.

Questions about this list

Why is my paper here? I never gave you permission.

Nothing of your paper is reproduced here. This page records that a MyGeneLog™ page cites your work, and links to the paper on PubMed — which is what a citation is. Your title and author list come from Europe PMC, the same public record a library catalogue uses.

Why are all the authors listed instead of "et al."?

Because a study that needed 622 people is a different kind of study from one that needed four, and "et al." erases that. Twelve names show and the rest are one click away. Everyone is searchable, including the 187th name on a consortium paper — that person exists and may be looking for it.

My name is misspelt, or the paper is wrong.

Tell us and it is fixed. Names come from the public record and initials are inconsistent across databases; where two people share a form of a name we cannot separate them, and we would rather be corrected than guess.

My paper is not here. Does that mean you rejected it?

No. This catalogue is assembled from what a small team could read, and it is thinnest outside European-ancestry cohorts. A paper is absent because nobody has got to it, not because it was assessed and turned down.

Which pages rest on a paper?

Each row lists them, up to six, and links to each one. The count beside a row is how many pages cite it in total.

How often does this change?

It is rebuilt from the pages every hour. A paper appears the moment a page starts resting on it and disappears if that page stops — there is no separate list to keep in step, because the citation lives on the page that makes the claim.
