Why are all the authors listed instead of "et al."?
Because a study that needed 622 people is a different kind of study from one that
needed four, and "et al." erases that. Twelve names show and the rest are one click
away. Everyone is searchable, including the 187th name on a consortium paper —
that person exists and may be looking for it.
My name is misspelt, or the paper is wrong.
Tell us and it is fixed. Names come from the public record and initials are
inconsistent across databases; where two people share a form of a name we cannot
separate them, and we would rather be corrected than guess.
